Winter vacation opening hours

The IT Service Desk will be open as usual from 9.00am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday for much of the vacation. Staff will also be available on some of the minimum service days to help with internet connections and other enquiries.
Shawcross opening hours
Monday 15 - Tuesday 23 December
Open 9.00am - 5.30pm Monday to Friday with Shawcross accessible using the keypad code at other times
Wednesday 24 December
Normal working day but after we close, Shawcross will remain locked, with no keypad access, until Monday 29 December
Monday 29 December
Open 12.00 - 5.00pm with Shawcross accessible using the keypad from 5.00pm onwards
Tuesday 30 December
Open 12.00 - 5.00pm with Shawcross accessible using the keypad at other times
Wednesday 31 December - Thursday 1 January
Service Desk closed but Shawcross accessible using the keypad
Friday 2 - Sunday 4 January
Open 12.00 - 5.00pm with Shawcross accessible using the keypad at other times
Computers in the Library will be available whenever the building is open and the York House computer room will be open throughout the winter vacation.
During the holiday closure period the networking and central computing facilities such as email, web sites, Sussex Direct and Study direct are expected to be available as normal.
