Fraud email alert

A fraud email targeting Sussex staff and students has been received by a number of accounts in the last few days. The email has the subject sussex.ac.uk Webmail IT Help Desk and includes a link to a form that has been designed to look like the Sussex Direct login page.
However, the site is not genuine and is designed to trick staff and students into giving up their Sussex username and password.
The email should be ignored or deleted but you can also check for details of the latest fraudulent emails on our security page (sussex.ac.uk/its/security).
