We have now resolved the problem that was preventing many people from seeing their email over the weekend.

However, due to the problems over the last 2-3 days, a large queue of inbound email is still being delivered to the affected inboxes. It may take some hours for all of the outstanding email to be distributed but we expect the process to have completed by the end of the day.

The problems were caused by a fault with one of the mailstores on the email system used by undergraduates and taught postgraduates during the weekend. As a result, many students saw a blank inbox when logging in to webmail.

We apologise for all the inconvenience this has caused to the people who were affected.
