How can I add extra cells, columns and rows to Word table?

Microsoft Word 2016


  1. Right click on the table where you wish to insert the row or column.
  2. From the pop-up menu click on Insert
  3. Choose the appropriate menu option.


  1. Click into the table
  2. Using the Table Tools, Layout  tab, Rows & Columns group, choose the appropriate insert option.
