2714SPSS or AMOS Authorisation Error
Symptoms: When trying to activate the authorisation code you receive the following message:
"Please run this utility from your product's installation folder.(echoid.dat)"
To resolve the issue:
Follow the steps outlined in this help page on the IBM webpage:

Once you have completed the steps click Start > All Programs > IBM Statistics > right-click on the Authorisation Wizard and choose 'Run as Administrator'.
In the license administrator copy and paste in the code from this page.
