I have just registered, but the system shows my university email address as the same as my personal email address. Why is this?

If you are a new student, the Student Directory will display your personal email address, if given, until you have started online registration and been given your new Sussex IT account, with its associated Sussex email address.

Then, after a delay usually of one day, your Sussex email address will replace your personal email address in the Student Directory.

Also, from that time, all Sussex official email communications to you will then be to your Sussex email address, and not to your personal email address.
