Come and hear Sufiyaan Salam, novelist, screen-writer and former animator, reading from and talking about his acclaimed novel, _Wimmy Road Boyz_.
Originally from Blackburn, Salam is an Observer Best Debut Novelist 2026, and co-wrote the BAFTA-nominated, BIFA-winning short film MAGID / ZAFAR. Salam is a past winner of the #Merky Books New Writers’ Prize (sponsored by Stormzy and Penguin books). He will be in conversation with Dr. Hannah Field, Department of English. All welcome.
