The Student Centre is now connected to our brand-new campus network, meaning we will now benefit from a better and more seamless Wi-Fi experience throughout the building.

This follows the network upgrades in campus student residences, Shawcross building, and the Health and Wellbeing Centre which have already been connected, thanks to the Network Replacement Programme team.

Why we’re doing this

We’re gradually rolling out a new, future-ready network. Once completed, this will mean:

• better digital services - faster, more reliable and consistent Wi-Fi, wherever you are on campus
• environmental sustainability - more energy-efficient technology to reduce our environmental impact

What’s happening next?

The new network is being rolled out in stages, covering different building groups to minimise disruption. You might notice some works happening when you’re out and about on campus.
