Celebrating Eid on campus

Students, friends and family joined the celebration, enjoying the delicious meal provided by Sussex Uni Food

To celebrate Eid, which marks the end of Ramadan, Sussex Uni Food hosted a barbecue on campus for members of the Islamic Society.

Held outside Eat Central on the Bramber House lawns, the event brought the community together to enjoy a delicious meal. The menu featured a varied selection of salads, proteins, breads, and sweet dishes, creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere.

Aisha, Islamic Society Treasurer, said: “The food was absolutely delicious and played a big part in making the celebration feel special and memorable. It really brought people together and added to the overall atmosphere of the event. We would definitely recommend Sussex Uni Food for future events; their contribution made a real difference to our experience."
