Halloween at Sussex: Two Days of Spooky Fun Across Campus!

Get ready for chills, thrills and plenty of pumpkin-spiced fun as Halloween at Sussex returns on Thursday 30 and Friday 31 October! The celebrations will take over the Student Centre and spots across campus, bringing two packed days of creative, tasty and spine-tingling activities for everyone to enjoy.
Try your hand at pumpkin carving and lantern decorating, grab a treat (or maybe a trick!) from our Halloween table, and settle in for spooky film screenings — complete with free popcorn. You’ll also find themed stalls where you can meet some of our friendly support services and discover what they have to offer.
No Halloween would be complete without delicious food, so make sure to stop by the Student Centre for a free themed lunch — featuring pumpkin soup on Thursday and pumpkin dhal on Friday — plus Halloween doughnuts served on both days!
Need a break from the bustle? Head to our quiet space for some mindful Halloween colouring, the perfect way to unwind during your busy week. Families are welcome too, with family fun events designed for children and parents to enjoy together.
Across campus and around these dates, you’ll also find a talk at the ACCA (The History of Witchcraft and Feminism), Atmosfear and Fright Night events with the Res Life team, and special sessions for international students and returning students (after a break in study, placement or year abroad); keep an eye on your inbox for an invitation if these apply to you.
With so much happening, it’s time to round up your friends, put on your best costume, and celebrate Halloween the Sussex way!
