University brand refresh: guidance

Last week, as part of the Sussex 2035 strategy launch, staff got their first official glimpse of the University’s brand refresh.
We are working behind the scenes to finalise brand guidelines and other materials before we ‘officially’ roll out the refreshed brand. Until that time, the brand refresh, including colours, shapes and typography used within the strategy assets cannot be more widely used and should not be imitated in any way. This is so that we roll out the brand refresh and guidelines in way that ensures we achieve the coherence and flexibility that it will bring.
Guidance on how to use the refreshed brand correctly and consistently will be made available later this term. Colleagues who regularly use the brand for communications purposes will be invited to join briefings on the new guidelines in early October.
