Colin Shipp, Executive Director of Human Resources, wrote to all staff on Thursday 22 August. You can read his message in full:
Dear Colleague,
Earlier this year we updated you on our work to introduce a new HR and Payroll system for Sussex. This work is essential to ensure we have a fit for purpose system in place to underpin our core HR services for our staff, including payroll.
The new tool, provided by Oracle, will replace our existing Zellis system with an enhanced and efficient new system from May 2026.
Updating your personal data
To help us introduce the new system successfully, we need to make sure that your personal data is up to date in MyView before we start the first of several phases of data migration to the Oracle system from autumn this year.
Why it’s important
By updating your personal data, you will help us to:
- stay compliant with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018
- stay compliant with HMRC/payroll requirements
- improve Equality, Diversity and Inclusion data for reporting and accreditation
- communicate with you effectively, especially in emergencies.
Making the update
To check and update your personal data in MyView, please log in to the system and then confirm that your current details are correct or make any necessary changes.
The update should take approximately five minutes – a summary guide of what to do is available on Box to help you.
Please ensure that you make your update as soon as possible and no later than Friday 26 September.
Thank you in advance for your help in ensuring the data we hold for you is accurate – please visit MyView to check and update your data.
Kind regards,
Colin
