My Sussex, your new online support portal, has now launched. We’re glad to bring you our new portal, which will make it easier for you to support your wellbeing while studying with us.
What is My Sussex?
My Sussex will be your biggest help tool throughout your time studying with us. It will:
- Help you find answers to all sorts of questions, from the personal to the academic, using a thorough set of FAQs
- Help you to support your wellbeing
- Make it easier to access the help you need, whether that’s general advice or a referral for specific support service
- Allow you to book wellbeing appointments and activities
The portal will put useful information at your fingertips 24/7 and will make it easier to find what you need.
Please note that My Sussex is not an emergency service – it is not staffed outside of working hours and cannot provide immediate support in an emergency. Find out more about emergency support.
Why are we using My Sussex?
We want to provide you with the best possible experience during your time with us, and My Sussex will help us to do that.
My Sussex will provide seamless access to wellbeing and support services, events, appointments, and advice and guidance. This one platform will bring together key areas under one easy to use portal, and will be the first place you go to find the answers you need and to access support and wellbeing provisions.
Looking for advice on a personal or academic issue, or simply looking for a group to talk through exam techniques? My Sussex can help you connect to the right kind of support for different situations. Can’t make it to campus but need support? You’ll be able to access My Sussex online, anytime and from anywhere.
How do I access it?
Accessing My Sussex is easy – registered students can visit https://mysussex.sussex.ac.uk to start using the portal straight away.

Students currently receiving support
If you are currently receiving support from the Division of Student Experience (DSE), you can now use My Sussex to raise enquiries directly, and these will be visible to you in the My Sussex portal when you log in.
