From July, ITS will begin to improve the way that staff access apps such as the Office 365 suite and email.

The upgrade will mean that from a single website you will be able to access multiple apps using just one password.

You’ll also be able to find your apps more easily, with more being added over the coming year.

Director of IT Services, Jason Oliver, said: “It’s vital that our infrastructure at Sussex delivers an outstanding student and staff experience. As part of the IT Roadmap we’re modernising systems to improve our security and keep data as secure as possible.

“The new Okta interface is a key part of this. Not only will it make it easier for users to find what they need on any device with a single password, it will improve accessibility for disabled users with easier navigation from a keyboard or screen reader.”
