Two new members have been elected to Council, the University’s governing body.
Max O’Donnell-Savage, Senior Library Assistant, has been elected by Professional Services staff to serve a three-year term as their representative on Council. Max will replace Fran Barnard, School Administrator in the School of Psychology, when her three-year term comes to an end on 31 July.
Joining Max on Council will be Connor Moylett, Education and Employability Officer in the Students’ Union, who will be the USSU Council Representative, elected from amongst this year’s USSU Sabbatical Officers.
Further elections will be run later in the summer to elect two staff members of Senate to Council.
Council is made up of 15 independent members, including the Chair, eight staff representatives and two student representatives.
