Are you joining Sussex as a first year student for the 2026-27 academic year? 

During arrivals weekend (Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September) Sussex Sport is hosting some sociable sports and games sessions on campus, perfect for getting to know new people or just stretching your legs after a long journey in the car.

If you can find the time during what is always a busy weekend, here's whats going on:

Saturday 19 September

• 12pm-4pm, sports and games, Active Arches
• 10am-4pmm, Saturday sports, Sport Centre

Sunday 20 September

• 12pm-4pm, sports and games, Active Arches
• 12pm-4pm, Sunday funday, Sport Centre

Active Arches is our multi-purpose fitness studio, located next to the Student Centre. The Sport Centre is on the South side of campus, close to the Student Union bar in Falmer House. Find both on our campus map. Active Arches is building 2, the Sport Centre is building 40.

Just bring a pair of trainers and wear whatever you feel comfortable exercising in. We hope to see you there!
