At the Brighthelm Community Centre (North Road, Brighton Town Centre) in the Helm Cafe, the arts and writing of 'Queer Crossings' will be on display from Monday 7th to Friday 18th September.
Please join us from 5pm to 7pm on Wednesday 9th September for a short talk about the exhibition 'Queer Crossings', and the project that created it 'MoVE' by Migrating out of Poverty, University of Sussex international partners visiting from the University of Witwatersrand, the African Centre for Migration & Society, Dr Jo Vearey and PhD candidate Ms Elsa Oliveira. There will be drinks and nibbles.
The talk will start at 5.30pm, with an introduction by L. Alan Winters, Professor of Economics.

A seven-day multimodal visual arts and narrative writing project conducted with eleven LGBTIQ asylum seekers and migrants - representing six Afircan countries - who currently live in Johannesburg, South Africa
