Service Update: G Drive Issues
ITS would like to apologise for the ongoing disruption caused by the G Drive failures in recent weeks.
Over the weekend of the 6 and 7 September, the G Drive service will be migrated to a new platform with the aim of mitigating and resolving the current service stability issues.
In the interim, we will be working with our suppliers to reach a resolution to the ongoing issues. We applied a fix at 06:30 this morning (19 August) and this has removed a source of errors the team had spotted. We will continue to monitor the service.
Meanwhile, if we experience further failures, we will restart the service promptly and inform you when the G Drive is available again. If issues persist for you after this, you can help us by restarting your computer to see if this resolves the connection issue. If you still have issues after this step, please let the Service Desk know.
