BOX is currently reporting a major incident and customers are not able to edit files online. You should still be able to edit files in the relevant applications.

BOX have updated their status page to say
'We are seeing improvement across all Microsoft Office Integration services. We are continuing to monitor for any additional impact.'
Sussex users should now be able to edit BOX files online if they wish
