Mrs Virginia M. Longley-Cook, Emeritus Lecturer in Law at the University of Sussex, died on 24th March 2011 after a short illness. She held MA and LLB degrees from the University of Cambridge, and was a Barrister-at-Law. She joined Sussex in the 1970s as a Tutorial Fellow and then part-time Lecturer in Law, becoming Emeritus Lecturer on retirement. She lived in Tunbridge Wells.
