Refurbishment of Special Collections Summer 2007

Special Collections underwent a substantial refurbishment of its reading rooms and offices, including the creation of a new reference collection area. Read more about the changes in the Library Review.


Mass Observation is 70!

May 2007 sees the 70th anniversary of the first Mass Observation survey and a series of events have been held to celebrate.

Copper Archive

The archive documenting the life of Bob Copper, patriarch of the famous folk singing family from Rottingdean, East Sussex, is now available for researchers to access. The collection ranges across the 20th century, documenting life in a Sussex village alongside Bob Copper and his family's life long involvement in traditional English folk music.
