I'm a senior lecturer in Software Systems, here in the department of Informatics at Sussex. My research interests focus on how to design networked computer systems and applications so as to best support the user, an approach I term user-centred networking . This currently encompasses the design and deployment of a pocket-switched network for a football stadium in the Digital Stadium project, trust management, MPTCP, and the design of pervasive computing applications. I'm proud to be the leader of the Foundation of Software Systems group.
