Interested in learning more about sustainability and the cocoa industry?
Join Tony’s Chocolonely on campus at 12pm on Wednesday 1 May as they deliver an educational talk on the prevalence of slavery in the chocolate industry and offer insights into their mission.
The session will cover illegal child labour and modern slavery on cocoa farms in West Africa persist due to inequalities in the cocoa chain, and how Tony’s Chocolonely is working to change the narrative.
The 20-minute talk will be followed by a Q&A session.
This event welcomes all students and staff eager to learn about cocoa industry challenges and potential solutions.
Attendees will also get to try Tony's mouthwatering ethically sourced chocolate!
