As a social worker, you can have direct and lasting impact on the life outcomes of children and young people, families and vulnerable adults.
Train to be a qualified social worker with the University of Sussex on our MA or Postgraduate Diploma courses.
Social Work is a uniquely rewarding career, in which you can have direct and lasting impact on the life outcomes of children and young people, families and vulnerable adults.
Here at Sussex, we’ve been delivering postgraduate social work courses for over 50 years through our established partnerships with local authorities and placement settings.
On our Social Work MA and Social Work PGDip courses, you’ll learn at the University and in placements across South East England. You’ll go on two placements during your two year course, giving you practical experience and opportunities to develop your skills in social work settings.
If you’re thinking of getting into social work, join us at this information event on 6 November (5-6pm) and find out how we can support you on your social work journey. You’ll hear from social work experts and have the opportunity to ask questions, such as:
- What is it like to be a social worker?
- How does social work education at Sussex work?
- What qualifications do I need to become a social worker?
- Can I study to be a social worker if I am an international student?
- How do I apply?
