Building Trust and Psychological Safety in Teams - all staff
All staff (Academic and Professional Services)
Research into effective teams identifies psychologically safety as the number one key contributing factor. Teams with high psychological safety and trust are high performing and provide an environment for people to thrive. Characterised by inclusivity, interpersonal trust and mutual respect, people feel comfortable being themselves and contribute ideas, share success, ask for help, admit mistakes and express their views.
• Explore what psychological safety means and why it matters
• Discover the role of trust in teams
• Share experiences and ideas around building trust and psychological safety within teams.
Organisational Development will email further details the day before the event.

All managers are encouraged to enable staff to attend University events in work time, where business needs allow, as learning and development to further all staff contributions in supporting to achieve our goals. Please support to share this event with your teams and networks. We require a minimum number of attendees on our workshops to make them viable. If we are ever unable to run a workshop due to low numbers, you will be contacted 48 hours before the workshop to inform you.
