The Four Tendencies: Create long-lasting habits and transform your working relationships
Tuesday 30 April 10:00 until 12:00
Online
Speaker: ThinkProductive
Part of the series: Staff Development
Target Audience: All Staff (Academic and Professional Services), anyone who wants to be better at creating habits for themselves.
Applying Gretchen Rubin's "Four Tendencies", the amazingly simple but powerful personality profiling model to your world of work will transform your understanding of what motivates you and your colleagues and will also open up a whole new toolbox for how to communicate with stakeholders and customers at every level.
During this session we'll explore the pros and cons of each tendency and help you to identify which tendency applies to you and to those around you. With this knowledge, you'll be equipped to really tailor your communications and interactions with your colleagues but also to wider groups and stakeholders outside your own "tendency bubble".
We'll even spend some time action-planning how you will use these techniques in real life.
This workshop will cover:
- Learn how to make better decisions, meet deadlines and do the stuff you promised yourself you would do.
- Understand the tendencies of the people around you, to transform how you communicate with, and motivate each other.
- Discover how the Four Tendencies model can be applied to wider interactions with your stakeholders and customers, impacting your ability to influence and persuade
Organisational Development will email further details the day before the event.
Please let us know as soon as possible if you have any accessibility requirements regarding this staff development activity (e.g., hearing/visual impairment) so that we can do our very best to accommodate your needs.
