SSRP Symposium 2025: Synergy Drivers for Accelerating Action on the SDGs

With the world going as it is, sustainability research is needed now more than ever. So join us at the Annual Symposium on Sustainability Research hosted by the SSRP Centre of Excellence, (Sussex Sustainability Research Programme) and hear about, and discuss, a wide range of impactful research at the University of Sussex and IDS. Topics include: rights of nature as a means to empower indigenous people; anticipatory action against climate extremes; rewilding on the South Coast of England; conservation and public health in sensitive forest areas, and many others. Where and When: Wednesday, 26 November 2025 in Room 221 at IDS, from 09:30 to 13:00. (Refreshments and lunch will be served.)
