Combine your passion for performance with your love of film.

You’ll explore theatre and performance through a distinctive combination of practice and theory. You’ll examine the social and political contexts shaping contemporary performance trends. Our versatile facilities are perfect for you to develop skills in theatre-making.

Watching a wide range of films, you’ll find out how cinema entertains, informs and influences its audiences. You’ll investigate global film cultures; question cinematic representations of gender, race and sexuality; and analyse popular genres.

Our engaged and passionate tutors will guide you through each year of your degree. Specialist options allow you to tailor your degree to what inspires you most. You also have the opportunity to apply for a year studying abroad.

We understand that deciding where and what to study is a very important decision. We’ll make all reasonable efforts to provide you with the courses, services and facilities described in this prospectus. However, if we need to make material changes, for example due to government or regulatory requirements, or unanticipated staff changes, we’ll let you know as soon as possible.
