Changes to English Language and Linguistics BA
Here at the School of Media, Arts and Humanities, we develop what we teach all the time. We’ve listened to feedback and we have updated the curriculum for the academic year 2022/23 for your English Language and Linguistics course. This will ensure the most comprehensive teaching experience for your subject area.
However, it has come to our attention that the changes to the BA in English Language and Linguistics which we communicated were not correct and incorrectly displayed the core changes for our BA in English Language and Literature instead of the changes to the BA in English Language and Linguistics.
We’ve now updated the prospectus to reflect the correct course changes. We have also set out the correct changes for your course below as of Wednesday 4 May so they are clear. The changes to this course are to the content and number of core modules in Year 1 and Year 2 and option modules in Year 2 and 3.
It’s important that you understand these changes, so here’s what you need to do:
- Take a look at the updated online prospectus for your course.
- Take a look at the table showing Correct Course Changes as of Wednesday 4 May below to see how your curriculum will be changing and what your course content will actually look like.
- If you wish to compare these against the Previous Incorrect Course Changes, please view this table towards the bottom of the page.
- Fill in the below form to let us know that you understand these changes.
