15 credits, Level 5

Spring teaching

This module provides a practical mix of project management techniques and information technologies management skills for students taking Accountancy and Finance or Marketing and Management courses. The module will explore what a project is, why projects are becoming so important for most organisations, and what the key project management techniques are. You will experience planning a simple project, which will come in very handy and may even increase their employability.

Moreover, organizations extensively use information technologies (IT) such as accounting information systems and virtual collaboration workspaces. An appropriate management of such IT helps organizations achieve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
