Dissertation option 1: Media Project (016P3)

60 credits, Level 7 (Masters)

With guidance from your supervisor, and through workshops, you will design and execute a media project relevant to development and social change.

Accompanying the project you will also provide a 5,000 word written critical self-reflection on the process and outcomes.

This will include a relevant biblography of relevant media and scholarly sources, and demonstrate your critical evaluation of and engagement with relevant scholarship.

We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology. We’re planning to run these modules in the academic year 2022/23. However, there may be changes to these modules in response to feedback, staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum. We’ll make sure to let you know of any material changes to modules at the earliest opportunity.
