Sussex Graduate Scholarship (2018)
The scholarships are available to UK, EU and international students graduating from Sussex in 2018 and includes up to £5,000 of funding.
What you get
You receive:
£5,000 if you graduate with a 1st (first-class honours degree).
£3,500 if you graduate with a 2:1 (upper second-class honours degree)

Eligibility
To be eligible, you must
be a Sussex undergraduate (UK, EU and international students) graduating in 2018
progress immediately on to an eligible full-time Masters course at Sussex in 2018
apply for an eligible Masters course (check the 'Who isn't eligible' tab for excluded courses)
receive and accept an offer of a place on an eligible course
graduate with a first-class or upper second-class honours degree
meet the University of Sussex's general entry requirements.
You are not eligible for this scholarship if you are going to study any of the following courses:
Postgraduate diplomas (including CPE Common Professional Examination) and Postgraduate certificates
Masters degrees in Social Work (if receiving a NHS bursary)
PGCE courses
Schools direct teaching courses
Corruption, Law and Governance LLM (delivered in Qatar)
Development Studies MA
Early Years in Education MA
Globalisation, Business and Development MA
Governance, Development and Public Policy MA
Power, Participation and Social Change MA
Poverty and Development MA
You are also not eligible for this scholarship if you:
already have another Sussex scholarship (such as the Chancellors International Scholarship)
have studied at a University of Sussex partner college (such as BIMM)
are taking an integrated Masters

How to apply
You need to:
apply for an eligible Masters course using the postgraduate application system .
submit the scholarship declaration before the deadline via the PG application system when you accept your offer and before you register.
There is no formal confirmation of the scholarship, as it is applied automatically if you meet the requirements. The scholarship will be confirmed when registration opens, as the scholarship will be applied as a fee discount when you register.

Timetable
The deadline for this scholarship has been extended, if you recieve and accept an offer in time to take up a place in September 2018, you will receive the Sussex Graduate Scholarship.
The scholarship is applied as a fee reduction when registration opens in September, so you are advised to apply as soon as possible.
