Two scholarships are available to students currently studying at the Asian University for Women (AUW) in Bangladesh and progressing to an eligible Masters course at the University of Sussex.

Eligibility
To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be:
studying at the Asian University for Women
expected to graduate with a Bachelors degree from AUW in May 2022
offered and accept a place on an eligible Masters at Sussex.
selected by AUW to be considered for the award
You are not eligible for this scholarship if you are going to study any of the following:
Postgraduate diplomas
Development Studies MA
Early Years Education (with Early Years Teacher status)
Globalisation, Business and Development MA
Governance, Development and Public Policy MA
Power, Participation and Social Change MA
Poverty and Development MA
Masters degrees in Social work (if receiving an NHS bursary)
PGCE courses
Schools direct teaching courses
Any Masters funded by the research councils (e.g. ESRC 1+3 funding)

How to apply
To apply for the scholarship, you must have obtained an offer of a place on an eligible Masters at Sussex. You are also required to provide the following:
Statement of intent/motivation letter (no more than 1200 words), elaborating your candidacy for the scholarship and indicating which Masters course you have received an offer for
your most recent AUW transcript
resume (no longer than 2 pages)
a copy of your offer letter from the University of Sussex

The Sussex Scholarship Program for AUW graduates is the outcome of a successful partnership between the two institutions, aiming to promote co-operation in academic programs, including joint teaching, facilitation of staff and student exchanges and opportunities for AUW students to gain scholarships for further study at Sussex.
