There are three scholarships of £3,000 available to applicants applying to study a Masters course in the Department of Law, commencing in September 2022. Applicants will be assessed on their experience, achievement and ambition.

You must have been offered and accepted a place on one of the following courses starting at Sussex in September 2022:

Professor Colonel Gerald Draper joined Sussex in the post of Reader in 1967 and during his 13 years at Sussex, Draper was instrumental in the setting up of what is now the Sussex Law School. He remains to this date a highly influential and frequently quoted figure in the legal world and is deemed by many as the founder of the International Humanitarian Law and Criminal Law as we understand them today.
Applicants will be notified of the decision regarding their application by the end of July 2022.
Terms and conditions
The scholarship is a donation, awarded as a tuition fee reduction and can be combined with other University of Sussex scholarships, including the Sussex Graduate Scholarship.
