How do media, films and music tell us things about the world? How do they engage with the politics, social and cultural issues of their time? This module will introduce you to debates that will help you to critically explore media, film and music texts. You will investigate a range of concepts and critical frameworks and develop the study skills necessary to examine a range of media forms.

This module is 160 hours of work. This breaks down into 42 hours of contact time and 118 hours of independent study.
