Foundations in Psychology: Applied Psychology (C8502)
15 credits, Level 3 (sub-degree)
This module will enable you to explore a range of topical controversies which stem from a variety of areas of applied psychology for example occupational, environmental and forensic psychology. You will evaluate theories and ideas with respect to empirical data, and will learn how to apply the findings of Psychology to everyday experience.
Assessment: 50/50 split exam/coursework
60%: Coursework (Portfolio)
40%: Examination (Unseen examination)

This module is 150 hours of work. This breaks down into 33 hours of contact time and 117 hours of independent study.
