As part of a wider project in which the University is updating its HR platform, the structures of departments, modules, courses, and the data behind them that support students and staff are being updated. On Wednesday 15 July 2026, IT Services will begin this update with the Faculty of Media, Arts and Humanities.
We anticipate no disruption to wider IT services across the University. This update is being delivered in collaboration with teams from AQP, MAH, Finance and HR. The work will begin in the morning and is expected to be completed by the end of the day.
Extensive planning and preparation have taken place to support a smooth implementation. Thank you to all of the people and teams who have contributed to the preparation for this update. We are grateful for your input and support.
We will provide an update by the end of the day of Wednesday 15 July 2026.
The planned database updates for the Faculty of Media, Arts and Humanities (MAH) were completed today.
The project team will be carrying out validation and assessment activities tomorrow morning. Further updates will be provided as they become available.
