Essential Maintenance: Campus power affecting Wired + WiFi network, 03/09/21, 20:00 - 04:00 04/09/21

Systems / Services Affected: Wired & WiFi networks

Date / time: 03 September 2021, 20:00 – 04 September 05:00

Reason for downtime: UK Power Networks will be carrying out essential upgrade works on the local power network that supplies campus. This work is being carried out at:

Friday 3 September 20:00 – 20:30

and

Saturday 4 September 04:00 – 05:00

During these times there will be interruptions to power across campus, and the wired and WiFi networks will be unavailable.

We anticipate that network services will automatically return once power is restored, although there may be some ongoing interruptions to wired and wifi network availability over the weekend if network hardware fails to boot back up.
