Thurs 12th Nov 2020 - Exploring Sussex Integrated Dataset: Partnership between Academics and Users

Thursday 12th November, 13:00 via Zoom.

This event seeks to expose the Sussex Integrated Dataset to Academics at Sussex and Brighton Universities interested in developing partnerships to provide novel solutions and approaches in data analytics covering diverse areas such as healthcare and social care. These approaches might include modelling, statistical analysis, machine learning, and artificial intelligence, just to mention a few.

Gurprit Pannu, from Sussex Partnership Trust, will present the Sussex Integrated Dataset (SID). The SID is a pseudonymised dataset that links data from several health organisations in the Sussex area, connecting health and care data across NHS, social care and other organisations.

The seminar will include a short presentation followed by plenty of time for questions and discussion about what research questions can be addressed with the dataset.

DISCUS has funding available to develop suggestions for interdisciplinary collaborations that may arise from the discussion. Please contact Louise Winters, the DISCUS Centre Manager, if you'd like to find out more.

This seminar is co-organised by Dr Eduard Campillo-Funollet and Prof. Anotida Madzvamuse.
