University of Sussex Business School academics appointed Fellows of the Academy of Social Sciences

Two University of Sussex Business School academics have been appointed Fellows of the Academy of Social Sciences in recognition of their significant achievements and contributions to social science.

Jacqueline O’Reilly, Professor of Comparative Human Resource Management and Co-Director of the ESRC Digital Futures at Work Research Centre, and Paul Nightingale, Professor of Strategy and Deputy Director, SPRU, join over 1300 distinguished social science scholars and practitioners as Academy Fellows.  The University of Sussex has a further 23 Academy Fellows amongst its faculty.

Professor Steven McGuire, Dean and Head of the Business School, said: “This is a fantastic achievement for both Jaqueline and Paul, and one which demonstrates the excellence and impact of their work in the field of social science for public benefit.”

The Academy of Social Sciences promotes the advancement of social science in the UK through research, education and service to the community.
