The Division of Student Recruitment and Marketing, University of Sussex is seeking an enthusiastic team player to join the Widening Participation Outreach Programme; an exciting opportunity to be involved in working with our network of 80 partner schools and colleges, collaborative partners, and academic colleagues.
The main duties of this post covers all aspect of the Widening Participation Team and will include;
- delivering presentations and workshops to students, parents and teachers in an outreach capacity
- supporting other areas of outreach including data input and ambassador training
- support for bespoke projects and provide administrative support as required
- the post holder may also support the delivery of extended projects and events including the residential summer schools.
The successful candidate should be highly motivated and be able to work well both in a team environment and independently.
S/he should possess excellent IT, organisation and communication skills, and be able to deliver engaging and interesting presentations to a range of audiences. Please note that this post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check.
