Hours: Full time or part time hours considered up to a maximum of 36.5 hours per week. Requests for flexible working options will be considered (subject to business need). Where possible staff will be asked to arrange their hours with their teams to provide cover between 0800 and 1730 each working day.
Contract: Fixed-Term until 29 February 2020
Salary: Starting at £33,199 and rising to £39, 609 per annum, pro rata

The School of Life Sciences is at the forefront of research in the biological sciences in the UK, coming in the top 10 in the REF 2014.
The School of Life Sciences is looking for a motivated person to ensure the management and provision of an effective and efficient technical service for teaching and research, specifically in the department of Ecology, Behaviour and Environment (EBE).
EBE has a breadth of research and teaching support requirements, from assisting with field and lab based data collection and assisting in practical lectures, to managing the controlled environments and maintaining links with local field sites.
The post holder will also assist the HTS in the management of space, facilities and associated equipment in support of activities across the School of Life Sciences. Ensuring a safe environment for all staff, students and visitors.
The post holder will be highly organized, adaptable, flexible, have excellent interpersonal skills and able to deal with a broad range of requests and tasks that arise in the diverse teaching and research areas of the department and school.
