Hours: Part time considered up to a maximum of 0.6 FTE / 22.5 hours. Requests for flexible working options will be considered (subject to business need).
Contract: Fixed term for 6 months maternity cover
Salary: Starting at £30,497 to £34,304 per annum, pro rata if part time

The University of Sussex constructs its teaching timetable using Scientia Syllabus Plus Enterprise Edition and data from our in-house student record system.
The timetabling team is currently consists of 6 staff who work to deliver a full year timetable. The team work closely with the University’s academic schools of study to deliver the teaching and examination timetables. This includes delivering training to the School’s staff who provide the data used within the timetable. The team also provides an essential room booking service for staff and students.
We timetable at an individual student level and once completed the timetables data is loaded into the student record system. This provide individual timetables which students and staff can access online.
In total, timetabling is responsible for 15,000 teaching activities over the course of an academic year which are delivered by over 2,000 teaching staff to students. They also have responsibility for 20,000 ad-hoc bookings.
