We are seeking to appoint an experienced administrator to work in the Sussex Abroad team in Global Engagement. This is an exciting time to be joining the University of Sussex as we build on existing success in international student recruitment and a strong track record of student mobility.
The successful applicant will be required to undertake a variety of administrative tasks which include:
- processing applications of incoming Visiting and Exchange students to Sussex
- working closely with Schools and internal units to ensure that Visiting and Exchange students receive high level of support whilst at Sussex
- responding to student enquiries from both incoming and outgoing students
- responding to enquiries from overseas partners and agents
- maintaining records and data management
- supporting with writing marketing and digital publications
Candidates will have proven administrative skills and experience of working in a busy environment. The appointed post holder will have the ability to show initiative, flexibility and be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing with diverse stakeholders (students, staff, international partners). They will be a good team player with a high level of IT ability and a keen eye for detail.
