Hours: full-time or part-time hours considered up to a maximum of 36.5 hours per week. Requests for flexible working options will be considered (subject to business need)
Contract: fixed term for 12 months
Salary: starting at £21,414 and rising to £24,771 per annum

We are seeking an experienced, well-organised student experience co-ordinator, good at team working, to organise and maintain our 2019 International Summer School Social Programme.
The successful candidate will have experience of event planning and ideally have experience of working in a student facing environment. The post holder will also maintain links with the wider Global Engagement team.
Duties will include maintaining and developing our existing programme of trips and activities, updating trip and activity information, costing, marketing and promoting the programme, dealing with bookings, ticket sales and enquiries, performing health and safety assessments and risk management, interviewing and supervising temporary and casual staff, and setting up and adjudicating competitions.
It will also include the evaluation of feedback and analysis of the trips and activities and the performance of trips staff. It will include being available for evening and weekend work and being on emergency call over the summer.
While a knowledge of International students is desirable, creativity, initiative, flexibility and the ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, are essential. A good working knowledge of web payment systems, Oracle and Microsoft packages (Word, Excel) is also important.
