Hours: Part time (8 hours)
Salary: Starting at £21,414 and rising to £24,771 per annum, pro rata. It is normal to appoint at the first point of the salary scale

We wish to appoint a supervisor for evening and weekend services in our busy academic library, within the Frontline and Building section.
The postholder will be responsible for:
- Overseeing library services
- Training & supervising a team of library assistants
- Security of the building & stock
Applicants must have:
- A flexible, proactive approach to work
- Good team working skills
- Previous supervisory experience in a customer orientated environment
Experience of working in a library would be an advantage.
Opening hours are reviewed on an annual basis, so hours of work may alter for future academic sessions. Currently they are:
8 hours per week – term & vacation plus 4 hours for one bank holiday in May
Term time, Easter and Winter vacations
Evening (Monday) 15.00-19.00
Evening (Monday) 16.00-20.00
The post holder will report to the Frontline Services Librarian.
