Hours: Full time or part time hours considered up to a maximum of 1 FTE. Requests for flexible working options, including job sharing, will be considered (subject to business need).
Salary: Grade 9 within the range £51,799 - £60,022, pro rata if part time

The Sussex Law School, University of Sussex, is seeking to recruit an outstanding academic and researcher to the position of Senior Lecturer in Criminal Law and/or Criminal Justice.
The successful candidate will have an excellent research reputation in the field of criminal law and/or criminal justice, broadly conceived. The post-holder will engage in creative, interdisciplinary, and collaborative research contributing to the established research excellence of the Sussex Law School in this area including through the activities of the interdisciplinary Crime Research Centre.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of teaching in crime, broadly conceived, which may include one or more of the following: criminal law, criminal process, evidence law, or criminal justice studies.
The successful candidate will be on our teaching and research academic pathway.
