Joining our award winning International Office, you will have global aspirations which provide superb opportunities to contribute to the development of the University’s international and partnerships strategies.
As a senior member of the international team you will take leadership in delivering the University’s vision for recruitment and development activities in East Asia. Working with colleagues across the University, you will play a major role in developing academic collaboration, building upon institutional relationships to support recruitment, research and partnership development.
In addition the post holder will take a major lead in delivering marketing, recruitment and social media activities that will support international student enrolments.
Key duties include:
- Providing leadership, direction and oversight of international activities in East Asia
- Line-management of colleagues based in UK and China
- Monitoring performance to develop sound data driven strategies to support activities
- Developing supportive working relationships to deliver the strategic aims for the region.
- Supporting development of international student conversion activities to maximise recruitment.
The post holder will require excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a willingness to travel overseas for several weeks at a time. We particularly welcome applications from candidates with knowledge and experience of East Asia particularly China.
