The post will be based at BSMS, and will involve working with the undergraduate curriculum team with ultimate responsibility to the director for the undergraduate programme Prof. Juliet Wright.
This position affords the suitable candidate the opportunity to develop their academic portfolio whilst maintaining clinical practice. The key responsibility of this position is to lead the teaching of the year 2 module Clinical and Community Practice for BSMS medical students. This module builds on the 1st year module, continuing the development of students’ foundational knowledge and skills in clinical communication, examination and decision making, aligning to and complementing the systems-based modules taught in the first two years. The post holder will gain a broad experience in leading and developing undergraduate curriculum delivery and assessment.
The post attracts 1 programmed activity / session a week, as standard across all BSMS module leadership roles.
