Job description

The School of Engineering & Informatics is seeking an experienced School Administrator to deliver efficient and effective administrative support across teaching, research and engagement.  Working closely with the Head of School Executive, the Head of Professional Service (Science) and the HR and Finance Business partners, the School Administrator will have responsibility for managing a large multi-functional team and for ensuring the smooth operation of the School.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and experience needed to successfully lead and motivate a team. They will have experience of managing complex projects and be able to demonstrate creativity, enthusiasm and excellent organisational skills. The ability to work effectively and flexibly under pressure will be essential, as will excellent communication skills, experience of finance processes and budget management, and a high level of IT literacy.
